A woman has pleaded guilty to using her beauty products to lure customers into paying for beauty products, officials said Monday.
Diana Hatton, 39, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty in Manhattan Supreme Court to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
The indictment alleges Hatton sold “beautiful ad” kits and “beauty products” from her beauty supply company, The Source Beauty, that advertised products to people for $9.95.
Hatton also allegedly told customers that the products were designed for women and not men, according to prosecutors.
Hatto was arrested at her home on Dec. 17, 2018.
Hettons attorneys did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
